Before Tasha understood who she is, embraced who she is created to be, and live the life she is destined to live, Tasha was Broken. She was broken by “life”. She had suffered abuse, abandonment, rejection, and was severely misused. She lived a life in a vicious cycle of Survival.
In 2013 Tasha was clinically diagnosed with depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and in 2010 she was hospitalized due to the weight and the paralyzing grip of anxiety. She, unfortunately, knows all too well the residue and the damage that unhealed brokenness from trauma leaves behind. She also knows well what it’s like to create unhealthy relationships searching for validation and self-worth.
Because of these things, there was a relentless desperation to be healed and set free from the bondage of her past and she was willing to do the “heart” work that it took not only to be healed for herself, but so that she could walk with others on their healing journey.
